The main body of the tray is constructed from a single, continuous piece of solid American Walnut wood, milled to provide thick, durable side walls and a smooth interior base. The wood is finished with a matte protective sealant that highlights the natural grain while resisting ink stains and minor scratches.

To provide structural reinforcement and a premium aesthetic, the four exterior corners are capped with heavy-gauge, brushed brass brackets. The front lip of the tray features a recessed area where a solid brass plaque is permanently affixed.
